GuarantyOnline has adopted Enhanced Online Security. In the online industry, it's called multifactor authentication. It just means we've added an additional way to verify your identity and we've given you a way to verify that our website is authentic before you login to do your online banking.
Here's How It Works:
- Choose an image and corresponding pass phrase. The first time you log in, we will assign you a random, unique image and ask you to create a pass phrase. You will also be asked to choose and answer three "challenge questions." After your initial login, you may change your pass phrase and personalized image at anytime by browsing through our library of 10,000 images.
- Verify your private image and pass phrase. The next time you log in, Enhanced Online Security will recognize you and display your private image and pass phrase. If the displayed items match what you've chosen, login is secure and you can enter your password. If the authentication image and pass phrase do not match, do not enter your password. Start over or contact Guaranty Bank for assistance.
- Challenge questions: Enhanced Online Security also recognizes your computer so if you log in from another location, it will ask you to answer one of three challenge questions to verify your identity before allowing you to login.
